An event Gia and I decided to rule as a NEW Family Tradition!!
It's what you get when you mix perfect weather (a bit chilly in the wee hours of morning), a perfect route and 37,000 other people on Thanksgiving Morning!! The Dallas Turkey Trot!
This was mine and Gia's FIRST year to run the Turkey Trot and we were so excited and nervous!
I have been sick with bronchitis all week, so I was iffy on the actual run and my lil lightening star GIA, was ready as EVER! So, we met up SUPER early and headed downtown for a good parking spot and a lil madness!

My Mom and Dad came down and kept Gavin while we ran and I am soooooo grateful to them for waking up SUPER early, bearing the COLD wee hours of the morning and hanging around with a bored lil boy so that they could be a part of something special to ME. THIS is why I LOVE my family so much!! Who knows, one day, maybe the WHOLE family will make it out to walk/run!!
