We always kick-off Summertime with a Kenny Chesney Concert, the first weekend in May, and have been doing so for more years than I can count. We ALWAYS end up standing out in the torrential rain and sometimes the occasional Thunderstorm. But, nothing has yet to top last year's performance of "I Go Back" and"Something Sexy About the Rain" in the pouring down rain and Thunderstorm!!
It was simple, pure, and beautifully AMAZING!!!
The fact that he came back, after he cancelled show due to lightening and perform a makeup show, only proves more why he has been 'Entertainer of the Year' for so many years and why we will ALWAYS go stand out in the pouring rain to listen to him sing!
Well, sadly,Kenny took this year off for some personal down-time.BUT, he did NOT leave us hanging. Yup, we were still about to, effectively, kick-off our Summertime with Kenny.
Kenny Released a 3D Concert Movie for fans everywhere!
And, while we were pumped up about the thought of a packed theatre with nothing but Kenny fans, Hawaiian Leis, Beach balls, flip flops or boots and singing, we were sadly disappointed that our theatre only seemed to have 20 people in it, seven of which were our group!! We didn't let that stop us, though! We were the singingest (if that's even a word) group of Kenny fans you could find. We donned our leis, our awesome 3D glasses,our boots and flip flops and sang our hearts out! I just love these girls!!
Clearly I was the only one who had a Patron shot with my Margarita at dinner! I thought we ALL were still wearing our cool 3D glasses for this photo opp...oops, my bad!
I had come to the realization that not everyone was wearing their glasses and demanded a re-shot!
Although, in this picture, I would beg to differ about that Patron shot! Love these girls!
