Gav was excited about opening presents..."presents"..."presents"..."presents"...he should be fun at Christmas this year...Happy Father's Day...Daddy!!! Keith had dropped hints about prospective gifts for upcoming events and Gavin and I took our pick of a buffer for the boat. We probably should stick to what we know and that is NOT tools or accessories for the boat.
We went to Aunt Gia's for a little pool time and FuN DaY on Saturday and saw that she had made Uncle Paul a baseball with the boys hand prints on it, she is so creative like that...so we decided to common dear her idea and throw in one more present for Daddy. (thanks for the help Aunt G)
Well, it turns out, Mommy's memory isn't as good as I thought it was and we ended up getting the wrong type of buffer, which was ok, because I was at least smart enough to save the receipt! However, Keith seemed more excited at the thought of their "FIRST" baseball and that one day, they would bust it out of the casing and learn to play "catch and throw." What a great idea! I really have to give Gia props...Keith loved it and Gavin loved it and it was just great all around!!
I think next year I will stop trying to make things perfect and just plan something creative and from the heart, because that is what counts anyways and is what he seemed to love the most! We spent a nice relaxing day at home, pampering Daddy and hope everyone had a fun Father's Day!!
