We started our weekend with the Red River Shootout between Texas and OU. Now, normally on a Saturday afternoon, we would be decked out in Ohio State gear and ready to cheer on the Buckeye's. However, since this was a big weekend for our friends (of opposing teams) we decided to pitch in our cheering efforts for a good ole TEXAS team. So, for a slight change, we donned our burn't orange and ranted "Hook 'em Horns." Did I mention that Gavin has found a new best friend in Rob? He really has taken to the little guy and now they are best buds!! Our cheering worked!! Well, for Texas anyways! Ohio State, not so much. Mom says it's because we were wearing burn't orange, but I think it's cause the Buckeye's had a rough day.
With a fun afternoon behind us, the guys packed up Gavin and headed out to Mamaw and Pappy's for the night while the rest of us got dressed to impress and ready to head out to the 2009 Runway of Hope Charity Gala
We had a great time with dinner, drinks, bidding and winning!!
It was fun to get all dressed up and head out for a night of charity!
Sunday, we spent the day resting up and playing with Gavin!!
