In Love

OK, I have to admit it...I am TOTALLY in love with this stage of Gavin's growth. I know I am his Mommy and I am supposed to say he is adorable and love him and dote over him, but I just can't help sharing my pride. Now I know how Mama Lionesses feel! Seriously...I am obsessed with my kid. He has learned so much in such a short period of time...ABC's, "Cows", 123's, "Horseees", "Please", "Cows", "Thank You", "Horseeees", "I love you", "COWS", "School Bus", "Horseees", "Fire Truck", "COWS"...you get the pattern?? Yep, from the minute we get into the car to when we get out, it's nothing but "Horseeees" and "Cows"...over and over and over. He even has a "Speedy" the horse that he MUST take everywhere, including the bath tub and even to bed. (Good thing "Speedy" is a small plastic horse)

I can't stop sitting here in aw of him and his behavior at this stage. I know there are much more exciting and fun times ahead, but part of me really wants to just freeze time for a few months! I love his little voice when he says something new...his impersonating skills...even his pouty little lip when he is sad or hurt. I could go on and on all night, but I will spare everyone...I am just feeling VERY blessed and totally in love and wanted to share!!
