About Me

My photo
I have a wonderful husband and bouncing boy, who is growing faster and faster as the days go by. I love to play with him and watch him learn and grow. My two boys are the things I am most proud of in this world and I love them to pieces...like father...like son!

Too much FuN, not enough ZZzzzzz's

John's in town!!! The party starts! He is not in Dallas more than 5 minutes and already he is inviting two beautiful Czech girls home from the airport to spend the night since their flight was cancelled. Yep, that's John...making friends everywhere!

They opt out, we head home!!

Everyone comes to the house to kick back, relax and eat some food! We put Gav to bed and hit the cards...spades, hearts, spades...I was NOT a good card player...it had been a while since I played last. That's OK, I will get them next time!

Friday morning rolls around...everyone stayed up late, talking. I got up and made Gavin breakfast, made Karle and Rob breakfast...Karle had to work, booooo...Rob had school, booooo. I ran Gavin to Jenny's, went grocery shopping and then came home and went running. When I got back, Keith and John were having breakfast and we were moving again! Once Rob got out of school, we headed to the local Western shop for some cowboy getup gear for John...boots!!!

We picked up Gav, the boys went for a run/ride...Rob and John ran and Keith and Gavin rode bikes. I packed Gav all up for his first sleep over with Aunt CC and Uncle Jake and Charlie and we were off. Everyone was getting ready to go out for a good steak and some country western dancing! We started at Trail Dust, headed to Rockin Rodeo, then to White Elephant and FINALLY found some action at Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth. Yes, bring on the dance floor!
My man was ready to dance and I was excited to spin, spin, spin! Drinks, dancing, laughing...it was our motto...needless to say, from the picture below, we had a BLAST!!!

Our evening of fun turned into a 5am gab fest. Are we all getting too old for this stuff...nope...well, maybe. It was a rough day, the next day!
Lake day turned into sleepy, ho hum day with everyone relaxing and hitting the sack early!
Keith was off to work and the rest of us had breakfast and had one last "hang out" before John had to head home. It was another whirlwind weekend with GREAT friends and awesome stories!
This weekend made me want to open a bed and breakfast! I love playing hostess!
Oh, and MY FRIENDS ARE "AHSUM"...they came home and cleaned my house for me while I was at the airport with John. It was like angels singing when I walked in the door, exhausted and ready to drop! I love my friends!!
