Oh Sam, I will never forget the moment when the phone rang and your Mama told us that she was expecting. I screamed so loud that I think the neighbors shared in our joy! We were so excited for your arrival and waited around the hospital for what seamed like centuries. Your mommy had you so late in the night, that we had to wait until the next morning to hold you for the first time. It killed me...the waiting! Watching you grow has and will continue to be a privilege and something I will always look forward to...that is until the first time that you three boys seem to find yourselves into trouble and then, we'll talk! ;) I hope you had a Happy Birthday and am so excited that you let us learn how to assemble your Thomas Train toys so that we can be prepared in case Gavin takes an interest in Thomas! We love you! Aunt Kiki, Unk Kief and Gavin!

1st and 3rd...
Dearest Jack, Like Sam, we were excited when we received a phone call from your mommy, telling us that she was expecting you! Aunt Kiki was hoping to give you a little cousin, close in age, and share some similar news and that wasn't too far off! You arrived a few weeks early and we were all excited to see you! We were extremely impressed with how big and strong a little boy you were and continue to become! You are a sweet, sweet, little boy! We are so excited that you and Gavin are so close in age and that the two of you will be able to help each other get into and out of trouble! We are so sad that you were sick on your actual birthday and can't wait to celebrate at a fun party this summer! We wish you many more HAPPY birthdays!!!
