Gavin's first visit with Santa was an experience! The line seemed forever long, but didn't take us very long at all. Santa had a couple of reindeer and elves out there to help entertain and the BIG Christmas tree had lights set to music. The whole event was very pleasant. As we approached Santa, he said to me, "Back him in MOM!" I, of course, said, " He LOVES people, it'll be OK," and he was ok for a while. Then, everyone started yelling to try to get him to look at the camera and he started to melt. You see, Gav doesn't do well with loud or abrupt noises if he is tired or hungry...which he was nearing since we were overdue for dinner and a cat-nap. Needless to say, I got two great pics of Gav's first visit with Santa. I am sure this will not be the only meltdown picture and I, quite honestly, think it is the cuter of the two! Oh, and in case you are wondering...this is the Santa that was a Stonebriar Mall, but he moved to Allen this year...over by the outlet malls. He's the best Santa EVER!!!! AND...they let us take our own pictures and video, but I didn't know that would be an option since you'd think they would want you to buy their pictures, so we weren't prepared with a camera or video camera, but we will be next year!!!!
