It's a White Trash Christmas Eve dinner. The recipe, you ask? Well let me tell you...
You start with a shot of last minute Christmas Shopping Craze...yes, the Christmas Eve kind. You add a little selfish something or other, like a mani/pedi. Sprinkle on some traffic and pile on the Christmas Carols from the Christmas Eve service at your local church. Add some last minute Christmas present wrapping followed by a rushed, baby bedtime. You set the timer, but forgot. So, when you look up...it's 8 o'clock and you FORGOT about dinner. You didn't go to the grocery store because you knew you would be out and about all week from Christmas party to Christmas party and family dinner to family dinner. So, you pick up the phone and call the local Italian Restaurant, down the street. To your surprise, they answer! With hope in your voice, you ask if they are open. With dismay, you find out that they have "just closed." Your next thought is pizza!!! So, you dial the first pizza chain that comes to mind and no answer. So, you dial the next in line. Whooohooo, they answered too! With MORE hunger and even MORE hope, you ask if they are still open. "Nope, we are closed, but what did you need?" is their reply. What did I need...a freaking pizza you moron...it's only Christmas Eve...why would I EVER expect you to be working? Oops, let me get back on track. So, you get in your car and venture out in hopes that AT LEAST Sonic would still be open. Nope, not at all. Your last and final hope, before you give in and eat cereal or eggs, is the local Walgreens. What could you possibly find to eat at Walgreens? Well, all kinds of things!! You'd be AMAZED! We settled for some Chili in a can and This my friends is how you have a White Trash Christmas Eve dinner!!! Hey, maybe next year we can spend a little more and get a frozen Digorno pizza since I didn't even THINK to check the freezer section!!!
