About Me

My photo
I have a wonderful husband and bouncing boy, who is growing faster and faster as the days go by. I love to play with him and watch him learn and grow. My two boys are the things I am most proud of in this world and I love them to pieces...like father...like son!

Emotional Connection Creates Unbeliveable Endurance

A nurse and a firefighter. It seems like the perfect match. You can create your schedules to match. You have a lot of flexibility and could possibly have a lot of time off together. My husband always said, "You should have been a nurse." Of course, we all know, I could not handle the gross and gore.
Well, since becoming a mother, I have now realized that I couldn't handle the gore because I would NOT be emotionally attached to my patients. You see, I AM emotionally attached to my little boy and you would not believe the stuff I have endured these past few days...I almost can't believe it. Not that it is anything super gruesome, but those of you who know me, know I can't handle much...I'm a wimp! I have endured it. We are getting through it...I just simply go into "GO" mode and don't stop until I've accomplished what I need to do to make things right. Through the snot, mucus, suction, projectile, mucus, snot, projectile and more suction...I have come to REALLY appreciate my Mom and Dad (wink...wink...Dad, I know mom has a hard time with the projectile, so I have to give you props too!).
So to all my MOMMY friends and DADDY friends too, I raise my big, blue suction bulb and say, "YOU ROCK!"
