Plug Covers, Locks & Latches...OH MY!!!

That's right my friends...the baby proofing is well over due in the Siebert house! Now that Gavin is crawling all over the place, it is important to start baby proofing.

So then follows the ultimate question...what all do you buy? Plug covers, door knob locks, cabinet locks, gates, stove guards, stove locks, toilet locks, etc...I could go on forever.

OR, do you follow the mindset that you shouldn't need any of that stuff if you are truly watching your children and giving them the attention they deserve? But, then again you are not SUPER Mom ALL of the time and you have that moment where you just need to run into the bedroom for a "split second" and come back to find your child has gotten into something in just a split second...impossible you think, but my friends, it is totally possible!!! This debate is a whole other blog in and of itself! So, I won't rant any longer!

I was going through the baby proofing checklist and through my house and through my mind...trying to figure out what I NEEDED to buy to make the house "Safe" for Gavin. While I was researching various different safety items and my head was spinning from all of the various ways you could think to lock a toilet...I discovered an item that would cover almost all of my bases and thought it was freaking hilarious!!! So, I have displayed the picture of the all time safety item of the week! Who needs hearth guards, cabinet locks, table bumpers and all that other stuff when you have this item?

POOR KID!!! I promise, Gavin, your Mommy will take the time to research, purchase and install the necessary safety items so that you don't have to wear a bumper helmet. I love you, son!
