The Plan: Meet at Nana Jo's at 8am for breakfast and playtime, head home for naps, and then spend the afternoon with my two boys!Gav had been getting up early lately, so I set my alarm and got up and showered before he could have a chance to wake up...he never did...I had to go in and WAKE him up. Of course, the morning where we are on a schedule and have to be somewhere is the morning Gavin decides to "sleep in." I loaded the car with our breakfast casserole and off to Grandmother's we went!! Breakfast was awesome...Keith made M-O-M pancakes that were delicious!
The Men (Paul) cleaned up (Grandpa and Keith managed) and the boys made a mess of the toys...it looked like a tornado hit. Everyone had fun!
Gav didn't quite make it home before he fell asleep and never woke up when I moved him to his bed. I guess he had fun too!!While Gav took a nap, Keith broke out and set up a picnic in the living room (weather didn't really permit an actual picnic). It was perfect! The house was cool and quiet. The food and wine was delicious. I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and fun filled day!!!
Happy Mother's Day!
