Stand Up and GOOOOOOO Gav!!!!

Alrighty, it FiNaLLy happened!!! Gav took his first solo steps!! This was the BEST Mother's Day present!! I was always worried that I would miss this HUGE milestone and be told about it by someone else, but I didn't miss a thing! We were at Aunt Gia's playing with Sam and Jack and all the kiddos were in the living room playing. While Gia and I were deep in discussions over very important issues (NOT)...all of the sudden, Gavin just stood up in the middle of the living room and took two steps. Gia and I (silently) freaked out because he had never done this...just free standing in the middle of the living room with nothing to hold onto. After he did this a couple of times, Gia and I decided to entice him a bit with some Backyardigans on the iPhone...his favorite...and off he went...HE WALKED CLEAR ACROSS THE LIVING ROOM...SoLo!!!! Whoooohoooo...NOW, we freaked out, loudly and completely over the top!!! All of the kiddos just stared at us like we were crazy and we probably were, but I was so excited to have witnessed this milestone! Gia captured everything on video for me (she rocks!) and I will post it as soon as she sends it to me. Gavin has sure taken his sweet little time with this milestone, but it was well worth the wait!!! Go Gav Go!!!
