Saturday FUN with Friends!!!

Gav did like the Splash Mat that Holden had at his house!! Go figure!

After all of our BINGO fun, we spent the night at Mamaw's and, of course, woke up with the Roosters & Gavin...the only people up at that hour!! Daddy brought us some early breakfast and we played a little and then got ready to head to play with Friends at their NEW house and POOL!!!

Whoohooo. We canNOT get Gav out of Aunt G's pool, so he is going to LOVE swimming and playing and will take a LOOOOoooonnnnggg nap for Mamaw and Pappy since Mommy and Daddy were, yet again, headed to the Lake for a wedding reception. (I know, I know, we live at the lake.)

Weeeeellllllll, not so much. Gav was MISTER FUSS BUCKETS almost the entire time we were visiting. Whew, wearing Mommy down.

Of course, there was a beautiful spread of Kolaches, Fruit and Cinnamon Rolls and the house looked PHENOMENAL and I will have to admit...I was a little envious of their digs, so beautiful...REALLY!!

Gav was not having fun in the pool...poor Lauren tried everything...Popsicles, juice boxes, toys, bubbles...Gav was just in a "funk" that morning. Needless to say...he spent a majority of the morning in this little tike's car with his binkie in his mouth...which I don't usually allow, but he is teething and I was DONE with the constant fussing. Maybe the next time we hook up to play...fun, entertaining Gavin will join us! Aside from Gavin's temperament...we had a BLAST!!

Good food, awesome pool time, and GREAT friends...who could ask for more??? Uuummmm, well, maybe, me...MORE time would have been nice, but we had a busy day filled with MORE friends!!

After our Morning Fun in the Sun and dropping Gav back off at Mamaw and Pappy's, I headed to the lake where we were meeting a bunch of friends to celebrate in their wedding reception. Again, MORE food...Uuuummm, AMAZING drinks...and GOOD TIMES!!!

Let me just tell you...my new favorite shot turned drink (because it was soooo big...thanks Squig) is a SKITTLE. Oh yes, my friends...GOT TO TRY IT...YUMMY!!

(word to the wise though...take your B12 and Aspirin FIRST!)

Water Park FUN!!!

While we were at the lake...Mamaw, Pappy, Aunt CC, Charlie, Chloe and Gavin hit the Frisco Rec Center for some fun at the water park. Gavin had a BLAST! He even wore a life vest, climbed the rope wall...all the way to the TOP, played in the water buckets and went down the slide. I will say, a part of me is sad that I missed such a good time with Gavster! I NEVER would have thought that would have turned out well after the morning fuss show, but who knew?!?!
