So as I have sat back and complained and wished and hoped for Gavin to get over his "Mommy" phase, I realized that I should just enjoy and embrace it. You see, it wasn't until I saw Gavin out in the garage with Keith and Rob while they were working on Rob's mountain bike, that I succumb to the fact that ONE DAY, Gavin is NOT going to want Mommy around! One day, Gavin will say, "No Mommy, not you...Daddy and I are going..." Yep, Gavin was spinning the wheel...Ohhhhh....Ahhhhh...and was totally interested in what Keith and Rob were doing. RIGHT THEN...it HIT ME...like a ton of bricks. Enjoy this clingy time I have now, because soon, Gavin will be off with "The Boys" and will not want to cuddle, kiss, or hang out with his Mommy like he does now. So, no more complaining. No more whining about the clinginess. I am going to enjoy and embrace this time to cuddle, love, kiss and endure every bit of my son, for one day, it's not going to be me he wants, but Daddy!
