This is a "taste" of what our Annual Redneck N Boom 2009 was like this year! The actual show was probably close to 30 minutes! My cousin did a fantastic job this year, although he did come close to blowing his face off...yikes!!! You light it and it doesn't blow, you don't EVER go back to it and he did and it almost blew up in his face. It was a close call! Yikes!!
The music was for everyone and ranged from Kidd Rock to Mama Mia to Lee Greenwood. You will have to excuse the yelling, talking, running, and karaoke singing and just enjoy the fireworks. Jason (my cousin) did a phenomenal job putting everything together! Despite the small amount of rain, he was able to set off a majority of the fireworks and the show was spectacular. I was going to wake Gavin up for the fireworks show, but since he was feeling so badly, I let him sleep. But, cousin Jason, was nice and saved some fireworks for the kiddos for the next night...or we like to pretend he saved some!!
Jason had a whole flat of fireworks left over and was going to wait until dark to set them off, but since all of the kiddos were awake and ready at dawn, he went ahead and set them off...I know, the sun was still setting and it was kind of silly, but the kids LOVED it and he was their HERO!! Yay, cousin Jason!!! Great Job!!
